praise to be Allah,the preserve of the worlds and salat wa salaam on our last Holy Prophet,the chief of the prophets Muhammad (peace be upon him),on his family ,friends on all followers up to the last day with beneficence.

This university was established in 1398-H corresponding to 1978-AD in a renowned and beautiful area of Karachi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.It is one of the Islamic educational Universities,providing Islamic education,Arabic Language,Islamic Literature and propagation of Quran-o-Sunnah under the management of Abu Bakr Al-Islamia Trust(Kar.No.4929/1978-79 dated   15-10-1978 Directorate of Registration of societies act xxi of 1860 by provisional Assistant Registrar Karachi).It is an Arabic Medium institution.This university always struggling to provide education on the principles of Islamic believe and process of Islam to all the Muslim students who have attended this university from different countries so that they will be able to perform their duties under the Islamic dogmas and to guide them for forwarding the mission of Shah Ismail Shaheed and Syed Ahmed Shaheed.The foundation stone was laid by honorable Allama Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Subial,Imam &Khatib of Masjid-Alharam(Kaabah Sharif)and DY chairman of Affairs of Harmain Al-Sharefain Holy Mecca.Honorable Abu Abdullah had provided the financial assistance for the construction of this university.May Allah Almighty give him best award in this universe in the last day of judgement.

Thanks to Allah Almighty that the Abu Bakr Islamic university have completed a long period in the field of education ,training and preaching of Islam.This small plant of the past now become a large tree which is serving and providing religious educational knowledge to the students of this country and also to the students of foreign countries .

Standard of The University

Abu Bakr Islamic University having a respectable standard in all the Arabic and Islamic universities .The evidences are as under:

1.The degree of this university is accepted in all the universities of saudi Arabia,Islamic University of Madina Munnawara, Umm-ul-Qura University of The Holy Mekka and University Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Al-Islamic Riyadh select our students for admission for higher education.

2.This university has acquired the membership of “Rabita Al-Jamiat Al-Islamia(World Islamic universities League)to exchange the educational skill,experience and to maintain the international standards,for this purpose our delegation always participate in conferences and seminars.

3.This university is also affiliated with Wafaq-ul-Madarise-al-salfia Faisal Abad and certificates/degree are recognized as equivalent in all Pakistani Universities vide University Grant Commision Islamabad (Academic Division)

4.Various religious institutions have acquired collaboration on national and international levels with this university.

From this short introduction of the university , you will be surprised that above five hundreds(500) students from various countries i.e.surrounding from east to west are studying here and highly educated and experienced professors are busy day and night for their studies ,in order to forward on educational process and for the good atmosphere to the students .The administration of this university is also giving best services all the time .Whereas it is fact that the females are in majority in our society ,hence this university is also giving attention on the female education and knowledge of shariat in separate and permanent departments.This jamia is an examination center of Wafaq-ul-Madaras-Al-Salfia Pakistan in Karachi.

It is also fact that in all our struggles the blessing from Almighty Allah is also included,when on the other side with the help of Allah,the Islamic countries particularly Saudi Arabia,United Arab Emirate,Kuwait and the wealthy people of Pakistan have also granted assistance with this institution such as Jamia Islamia Madina Munnawarah,Ministry of Islamic Affairs,Idarat-ul-Ilmmia Wal Ifta Wal-Daawat-Wal-Irshad Al-Riyadh,Jamia Al-Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Al-Islamia Al-Riyadh,Jamiat Ahya At-Taras-il-Islami Kuwait and Rabita Al-Islami Holy Mecca.We thankful to all helping persons,organizations and pray to Allah Almighty to give them best award who have given their co-operation to the University.In last we again pray to Allah Almighty for their success in this universe and the day of final judgement.
